What’s On?
Our weekly programme is organised into two distinct, complementary spaces: The Clay Space and The Space. Each offers a different rhythm and experience, but all share the same ethos: space to make, explore, and grow - together.
Our Regular Progamme
-
The Clay Space - Pottery Drop-In - Mondays | 6pm - 8pm | £10 per session
The Clay Space is a dedicated drop-in for ceramics practice. Unlike The Space, it has no weekly theme - this is your time to focus on your own ideas, refine techniques, and experiment with clay. Whether you throw, hand-build, sculpt, or simply enjoy the process, this session provides consistent, supportive time to develop your practice.
It’s untutored but generous, with a lively, friendly community of makers who are always happy to share advice, tips, and encouragement. £10 per person covers the session, with additional costs for clay and firing. The Clay Space is all about steady development, confidence through practice, and the joy of creating alongside like-minded people.
Location: ClaySpace Studio, ROAR Art Space, Westgate Chambers, S60 1AN
Materials can be provided at additional cost.
-
The Space - Thursdays | 6pm - 8pm | Free
The Space is our hybrid model, blending the welcoming freedom of a drop-in with the gentle guidance of a weekly focus. Each session has a theme, starting point, creative provocation,or SkillShare topic.
The Space is time to experiment, to observe, to respond and to develop your creative voice. It’s structured enough to offer direction, but flexible enough to allow for curiosity, play, and personal exploration. We aim to release session descriptions six weeks in advance, giving you the chance to plan, while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and inclusive.
Location: ROAR Studios, Grove Road, S60 2ER (unless otherwise stated in session information)

The exhibition brings together landscape painting, sketchbooks, mixed media works, and more abstract explorations, reflecting Margaret’s ongoing curiosity and evolving practice.
Margaret is an active member of ROAR - we’re really looking forward to sharing this thoughtful and varied exhibition with you soon.
