Join us for the Opening Event of our new Garage Gallery Exhibition Capturing The Moment From Life by ROAR Artist, Chris Slater.

Chris Slater is a Sheffield/Rotherham-based oil painter whose work is rooted in direct observation, capturing landscape, still life and portrait subjects with sensitivity to light, atmosphere and the passing moment. Capturing The Moment From Life presents a selection of his paintings drawn from a lifelong, disciplined practice of painting from life.

During the opening Chris will be doing a live demo for us and talking through some of his progress as part of our Summer of Plein Air sessions.
