Sound Group is a welcoming, creative music project for young people aged 16–25, offering a supportive space to explore sound and music-making in playful and imaginative ways.
Across six relaxed, hands-on sessions, participants will experiment with unusual sounds using simple instruments, basic technologies and the surrounding environment. The group places an emphasis on attentive listening, collaboration and creativity, with no prior musical experience required.
This project is particularly suited to young people who may be experiencing isolation or social anxiety. Sessions are co-led by experienced artists alongside a qualified psychotherapist, creating a safe, supportive environment that aims to build confidence, nurture wellbeing and reduce isolation.
