Life Act - The Experience
Celebrating Stories, Creativity and Performance
Join us for a special exhibition celebrating Life Act, a performance company of adults with learning and/or physical disabilities who create original performances exploring the realities of living with a disability – its joys, challenges, triumphs, frustrations, and everyday experiences.
Bringing together visual art, performance, and archive material, the exhibition features artwork created by both Life Act members and ROAR artists, alongside photographs, film footage, and memories from Life Act's history. Together, these works offer a rich and personal insight into the creativity, experiences, and achievements of the group.
The exhibition opens on Saturday 20th June from 12pm, with a special launch event featuring a live performance by Life Act performers, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience the group's work first-hand.
Through art, storytelling, and performance, this exhibition celebrates self-expression, collaboration, and the power of sharing lived experience.
