ROAR (Rotherham Open Arts Renaissance) stands as an ally to the Black Lives Matter movement, the LGBTQI+ community and anyone living with disability.
We continue to commit to providing fair and equitable opportunity to all our artists and audiences, and will further develop our recruitment processes to ensure diverse representation at all levels of our organisation, from our Board of Directors, paid staff, freelance work and volunteers.
We will strive to inform and educate our members and partners to challenge white privilege and unconscious prejudice. We will listen, support, speak out and continue to learn to help make a more equal society.
