Amanda (Minx) Designs

Amanda (Minx) Daley of Minx Designs is a renowned local Rotherham self-taught mixed media textile artist who integrates fabric and embellishments with recycled and repurposed objects to create unique and beautiful pieces.

Amanda is motivated by the political and social injustices that impact our lives every day, and her work is a reflection of her need to scream out against these issues. Her art serves as a starting point for discussion and dialogue, and she believes that it can be used as a vehicle to explore, understand, and express emotions. Amanda draws inspiration from everyday life and uses her art to make a statement, with the aim of evoking a response from the viewer.

She enjoys experimenting with new techniques and mediums, and is always looking for new ways to combine materials and objects to create something unique. Amanda's work is a testament to her need to make a difference and to use her art to awaken and activate people's social conscience. Amanda is a highly active member of our Rotherham community and is well-known for her incredibly creative and conscious workshops.
