Farhad Nozari

 

Farhad Nozari is a distinguished artist born in Kermanshah, Iran in 1976, who has lived in the UK for the last five years. With over 37 years of experience in calligraphy and 26 years in gilding, Farhad has mastered both of these artistic disciplines, exhibiting remarkable skill and finesse in his work.

 

In addition to his visual art, Farhad has also dabbled in Persian classical music and theater, exhibiting his versatility as an artist. The gilded works are some of his finest works of art, each taking between 1.5 to 2.5 months to complete.

Farhad's work is an exquisite reflection of Persian miniature art, a distinctive style well-known for its intricate details and the use of various mediums, including calligraphy, pottery, enamelling, and more. His gilding work is based on the spiral arch and symmetry, deriving inspiration from nature.
