Powered by a ‘they’ll never do it’ attitude, 32 artists from all over the world came together to attempt to get to Mars.

“Between the simple and the impossible amazing things can happen” Herbert Metarex (onshelf – soon to be on board – computer)

It was a great example of how useful online collaboration and inspiration can be to energise and encourage artists to produce meaningful work.  Work that could influence their usual practice, was a space for experimentation and an arena serious play attitute.

The exhibition Launch/Crash event took place at St. Annes Building , Rotherham which included : Flying saucers, Inner Visions, Untangling, Optimism, Travel Semiotics, Teleportation, Terraforming, Dog Whispering, Mind Monitoring and much more.
