Across the Pond and Lincoln Letters

ROAR members love to get involved in collaborative projects with other arts organisations.

Two such projects are Across the Pond, a collaboration with CON Arts Collective in New York, and Lincoln Letters, a collaborative project with General Practice Artists Collective in Lincoln.

These projects involved sending work which was interpreted, responded to and a new work sent back.  Across the Pond forged one to one relationships where the artists were paired up for the period of a month to correspond where as Lincoln Letters involved the sending and recieving of parcels of artwork that were displayed on reciept, responded to and new work sent.

The projects were great fun and all the artists benefitted from taking part.  The anticipation of what you were going to receive in return was brilliant.
