Voices Unbound: A Celebration of Identity and Expression

We’re excited to announce the title of our WOW x ROAR Exhibition: "Voices Unbound: A Celebration of Identity and Expression," as part of the WOW Rotherham Festival on 11th May 2024. This exhibition is a vibrant homage to women, girls, trans, and non-binary communities, showcasing a dynamic fusion of visual art, poetry, and performance.

"Voices Unbound" is more than just an exhibition; it's a movement. It brings together diverse voices and talents, creating a kaleidoscope of expression that transcends boundaries and ignites conversations. Through a curated collection of paintings, sculptures, installations, and live performances, the exhibition explores themes of identity, resilience, and empowerment.

Experience the power of storytelling through art as we celebrate the richness of these communities. "Voices Unbound" is an invitation to immerse yourself in a world where every colour, line, and word speaks volumes about the journeys, struggles, and triumphs of individuals shaping our society.

We’re still on the hunt for submissions for this exhibition and would love to see your work on the walls of ROAR - you can read more about the Open Call here. The deadline to submit work is the 18th April.

Our opening day on the 11th May, as part of the town-wide festival, will feature some amazing highlights:
